5* Review: Grading On Curves Tara Mills

17834001

One-on-one instruction never felt so right—or so wrong.

There’s nothing unusual about Mia Page’s attraction to the young science teacher at the middle school. After all, she’s not the only one who finds him enticing. But when he pulls her son aside to ask for her phone number, she knows she’s in serious trouble. Since her divorce four years earlier, she’s been out of circulation, choosing to focus on parenting instead, and she’s not entirely sure she can handle an entanglement with the sexy Mr. Walden.

There are also other reasons why getting involved with Curt would be a bad idea. He’s two years shy of thirty, and she’s on the downside of that unmentionable number. He’s adamant about never having kids, and she has a son. Even the guy’s romantic gifts are suspect. Energy saving light bulbs? He has to be kidding.

On the other hand, he’s fun, sweet, and smart. He stimulates her intellectually, emotionally, and Lord help her, physically, opening her eyes to life outside her comfortable world. Yet their differences quietly gnaw at Mia even while she succumbs to their undeniable chemistry.

As their romance deepens, so do Mia’s fears that Curt will eventually hurt her. On edge, all it takes is an innocent comment to provoke her into drawing first blood. Mia recklessly wounds Curt, learning only too late that this blade cuts both ways. Frantic to make amends, she fears it might be too late to admit the feelings she’s tried so hard to suppress.

Content Warning: contains sensual sex

Grading on CurvesMy Review

Attractive divorcee Mia can’t shake the sparks she experiences when she makes eye contact with an attractive younger man. Curt can’t forget the woman in the coffee shop. After a second serendipitous meeting at the clinic where he takes a pupil for emergency treatment he decides he wants to know her better.
Curt is definitely the teacher in their fledgling relationship as he encourages Mia to experience life as a woman rather than a mother. Mia is a willing pupil and finds the chemistry between her and the science teacher hard to ignore. The sensual tension in this book is so well done.
Mia is lovely, easy to empathise with as you experience her fears and desires. Curt is sexy, gentle and wise beyond his years. This is a fairytale romance but will there be a happy ending? Only if Mia overcomes her own prejudice and risks her pride for the love of a lifetime?
The perfect romantic escape between school runs.

5* Review: If You Want Me Tara Mills

If You Want Me
Weddings make everyone think about love. Naomi is no different when she has too much to drink at her friend’s bachelorette party and has to leave early. She calls her ex lover’s best friend whom she met again that evening for a booty call. Ryan has secretly loved her for years and regrets he let his ex best friend steal her from under his nose. So he doesn’t need asking twice. Their passionate encounter ends abruptly when the alcohol overload makes her ill.

The wedding the following day throws them together again but Naomi is wary and embarrassed. She agrees to be Ryan’s date but asks her fellow bridesmaid Becky to act as chaperone to save her from her impulsive nature. Frustrated Ryan thinks he’s blown his chance but then the ex appears and out of conflict the confusion clears.

This is a charming quick read with likeable characters and steamy love scenes and the chance of a future wedding.

When you find the one you know. The ending of this sweet romance has the promise of a happy ever after. 5* Review Stolen Moments Tara Mills

Stolen Moments

Stolen Moments is an excellent, erotic romantic teaser which is a must read for the romantics out there.

From the first line the writer creates a believable setting and circumstances. I loved Ella who is so torn between passion and her responsibilities. Neil is dominant, decisive and driven by his need to possess Ella. What follows is best described as ‘afternoon delight’

There is a lovely twist which completes the story perfectly.

If your day is in need of romance this is definitely the story for you.

I was gifted this book by the author. This review is entirely my own thoughts.
