In the latest superhot tale from reader-favorite author Rachael Stewart, business owner Olivia Carmel is embracing her wild side, and PR expert Valentine Boretti has been hired to rein her in. But instead, Olivia is driving him wild…for her

Seeing a client naked is no way to start a working relationship—especially when that client is stunningly sensual Olivia Carmel. When she invites me to watch her BDSM session in London’s most hedonistic sex club, she thinks I’m a stranger, not a PR expert sent to rein her in.

Watching Olivia awakens a hunger I can’t allow myself to feel. There’s no way I can work with her! But when she crashes her luxury car, I can’t sit on the sidelines and wait for her recklessness to turn fatal. She may kill me when she recognizes me…and when she learns a man sixteen years her junior has been hired to curtail her bad behavior.

I’m here to reawaken Olivia’s careful, rational nature. But instead she’s reawakening my desire…showing me just how well we work together in and out of the bedroom. As we fulfill each other’s naughtiest fantasies, and share our deepest longings, I realize I’m feeling more for my wayward client than lust. But can I convince Olivia to take a chance on love?

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

My Thoughts…

This romance sizzles from the start with forbidden love. When Olivia and Valentine meet in the boardroom, neither can forget their previous encounter, and the undercurrents of desire and passion predominate. This is a sensual love story about two people damaged by their life experiences, who learn to enjoy life through each other. The passion is integral to their story, which is emotional and poignant too.

The story flows, and it’s an addictive reading experience, not just for the heat it generates but the emotional rollercoaster Olivia and Valentine experience to reach their satisfying conclusion. Such a shame this is the author’s last book for the Dare series, which ends soon.

Can an island fling…

Become the real thing?

The last person fashion exec RJ Gold expects to see while holidaying in St. Lucia is his ex, journalist Grace Hopkins. He doesn’t trust her—especially because she’s writing a story on the feud between his family’s fashion empire and a rival house. So he’ll keep the reporter close… And as their explosive chemistry and rekindled feelings reach a fever-pitch, they must decide—can love last or is their desire on a deadline?

Amazon UK

I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

My Thoughts…

The fourth book in The Fabulous Golds series features RJ and Grace, his ex-lover, the one he wanted to marry who walked away. Grace is a journalist who wants to write an article on the fashion feud that has defined the Golds and their rivals, the Kings. Riley and Chaz are due to marry, bringing both dynasties together and making them even more newsworthy.

It’s clear from the start the attraction between Grace and RJ is still burning and something they can’t ignore. The love scenes are sizzling, and the dialogue is full of humour, making this an entertaining read. Grace’s career is her life and the reason she walked away, but now ten years on, she wants both. Her assignment threatens the chance of love and leads to conflict and heartfelt decision making.

This is an enjoyable, sexy romance with vibrant characters and vivid emotions.

The Pleasure Contract Caitlin Crews 5*#Review @MillsandBoon @HarlequinBooks @megancrane #CaitlinCrews #ThePleasureContract #MillsandBoonDare #HarlequinDare #Romance #BookReview #MillsandBoonInsiders

Bristol March never imagined she’d ever be a paid girlfriend. Until an incredibly steamy encounter with devilishly gorgeous billionaire Lachlan Drummond has her eagerly signing on the dotted line. But every contract has dangerously fine print. Has Bristol signed away her body… or her soul

Amazon UK

I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

My Thoughts…

Whilst this romantic story definitely has hot romance and steamy love scenes, it also has emotional depth and complex characterisation. Bristol is the least likely person to enter into Lachlan’s contract, but she does with life-changing results. Most of the conflicts in this romance are internal as the couple battle their true feelings. The settings are glamorous, but the real attraction of this is passion and romance.

The Pleasure Contract is an enjoyable, emotional and sensual romance.

A little secret sexy fun
Under the Tuscan sun!

It’s her best mate’s wedding week – and Faye Davenport is celebrating with a skinny dip under the Tuscan moon. Except she’s not alone. The sexy Italian dish is Rafael Perez – her mate’s off-limits older brother. But now it’s too late. This illicit, irresistible fire is already out of control…

Amazon UK

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

My Thoughts…

Romance, Tuscany and a wedding, all three are guaranteed in this sizzling hot romantic adventure for Faye and Rafael. Faye knows her best friend’s older brother Rafael should be off-limits, but the chemistry is too explosive to ignore, so she grabs a little forbidden fun, not realising what a life-changing experience it would be.

The couple’s emotional commitment keeps pace with their passion. This connection and the Italian setting makes this story so romantic. Both protagonists are likeable and drawn together by their love of the bride, Rafael’s sister, and Faye’s best friend.

Passionate secrets make this an enjoyable sensual romance in vibrant Tuscany.

Betting it all on one night of pleasure!

Lone wolf billionaire Hudson Black is Monroe’s business partner…and the sexiest mistake she ever made! When a typhoon traps them in his Tokyo office, a naughty competition takes things from intense to incendiary! Will their mutual seduction destroy their business and their hearts?

Amazon UK

I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

My Thoughts…

I love this author’s stories they are always sexy, but strong on emotion too which makes them an enjoyable read. Bound to You, features Monroe and Hudson who is deeply affected by his unhappy childhood and uses his business success, and money to ensure life is always on his terms.

There’s a storm of emotion to match the typhoon outside when this powerful couple is in proximity. Their affair has implications for their business, but the connection is too strong to ignore. The characters are flawed and relatable, internal conflict threatens their happy-ever-after, and the reader is on the edge of their seat, hoping they have the courage to find happiness together.

This is an enjoyable sensual romance with strong characters, and lots of conflicts and a satisfying conclusion.

The Earl’s heir

And the rebel artist

Artist Artemisia Stansfield has four months to prove herself to the Royal Academy of Arts. When she finds out that aristocratic art critic, Darius Rutherford, has been snooping in her studio, she’s furious! Sparks of anger turn into flames of desire, but one lapse in judgement could give Darius all the fuel he needs to ruin her, as a lady and as an artist! Unless she trusts him enough to take the risk…?

My Thoughts… 5*#Review

This story has a fascinating theme. It’s full of pertinent historical detail that illustrates the struggle of female artists at this time. The chemistry between Artemisia and Darius in this slow-burn, but ultimately passionate romance is memorable. The emotional connection deepens as the couple get to know each other, and support the other through the conflicts they face.

The character and story development are notable, and it’s an enjoyable reading experience.

A missed blind date…

…leads to a chance at forever!

After exchanging messages for months via a dating app, Surgeon Ivy Ross is finally ready to meet up with ‘Mr. Right’. But when work calls her away the chance is lost…until fate intervenes and Ivy’s blind date – Travis King – arrives as her new Senior Medical Officer…aka her boss! Travis and Ivy know mixing business and pleasure is a bad idea, but sometimes bad ideas feel so good…

My Thoughts… 4*#Review

An interesting setting focusing on medics in the Navy is the background for Ivy and Travis’ romance. Meeting on a dating app, chemistry sparks and they decide to meet, but duty calls and Ivy doesn’t show. Their first meeting is unexpected and difficult as the logistics of a workplace romance on a ship are difficult and forbidden.

Both of the characters are relatable with conflicted and believably written romance. Ivy’s dedication to her career, and Travis’ struggle with his mental health, add additional conflict and give this story authenticity.

This is an original medical/military romance.

If I kiss you,
there’s no going back…’

Hosting South Africa’s wedding of the year at his exclusive safari lodge is Radd Tempest-Vane’s ticket to restoring his family’s empire. As long as he finds a new florist, fast! Brinley Riddell is the perfect candidate. She’s also an immediate distraction.

For Brin, this lucrative job is her chance to be free of the family who never thought her good enough. Radd may be proud, and strictly off-limits, but he’s the sexiest man she’s ever met! Surely one impossibly steamy encounter won’t upend their simple business deal…?

My Thoughts… 4*#Review

This is an atmospheric story, full of vibrant sensory imagery that immerses the reader in the setting. The story follows one man’s quest to rebuild his family’s legacy and a woman’s need to distance herself from her grasping family.

Both characters, are strong and have trust issues, which mean love and romance are not on their life list. A powerful and instantaneous attraction upsets their carefully laid plans and makes for a heated and passionate love affair. Brin has a secret which threatens their new understanding and is the major conflict in this story.

A love that is as decadent, deadly and desirable as the story’ setting is the perfect escapist read.

She’s definitely not invited…
But that won’t stop her

Heiress Asha Patel just crashed a party without knowing that the decadent masquerade ball is for exclusive members. The moment she sees gorgeous, delectably sexy French host Mathis Durand, Asha knows she wants membership more than anything. But Durand has something else in mind for the desi bombshell… Is Asha willing to pay the dangerously high price?

My Thoughts… 3*#Review

This story has potential, but the characters are not as relatable as they could be and the mystique and sensuality of the secret club and masquerade ball is not fulfilled. The love scenes are well-written but the emotional connection is lacking for me.

On the first night of Christmas, her sexy crush finally gave to her—an unbelievably hot night! Now she’s ready for nights two, three and four… Unwrap the steamy sequel to Getting Dirty by Rachael Stewart.

Read my review of Getting Dirty

I’ve lusted after brawny, gorgeously rough Jackson Black for six lust-fueled, unrequited years. But Jackson has rules, and the big one is “no getting involved with clients” of his elite London sex club. Including me. But our best friends are getting married, and for one deliciously hot night, the maid of honor and best man agree…what happens in the Scottish Highlands, stays in the Scottish Highlands.

It was everything I wanted and more…until the complete jerk disappears during the night.

Now it’s Christmas, and I have a plan to prove to Jackson Black just how much I don’t care, that he doesn’t turn me on like a Christmas tree. Only Operation: Naughty Elf is backfiring big-time. That aching need for his touch is stronger than ever. It’s painfully clear that I want more than just a fling from the untouchable Jackson Black.

I have one chance to unwrap the best man. But is this sexy, guarded grinch about to steal my heart…or break it?

Amazon UK

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

My Thoughts…

Unwrapping The Best Man delivers a festive surprise and sensual night at a highland wedding, Jackson, is Caitlin’s fantasy, and as her feelings are albeit reluctantly reciprocated passion is inevitable. What happens after is a surprise and Caitlin wants payback.

Jackson’s past threatens to damage his future, but most of his demons are internal as he thinks she’s too good for him. The setting, at the romantic wedding and the secret sex club, gives this story its edge. There’s a sense of forbidden pleasure and a battle of wills. Jackson may think he’s in control, but Caitlin is more than a match for him.

The romance is passionate and pushes the boundaries, but the emotional connection never falters, even when both try to convince themselves that it’s only a physical attraction. If you enjoy your romance raw and reckless, this is the festive read for you.

This story is a sequel to Getting Dirty and shares some characters but is definitely readable as a standalone.

Dark and brooding hotel magnate Will Walker is exactly what Laura Edwards wants for Christmas. Too bad he can’t forgive her for disappearing from their unhappy existence in foster care without a word.

But when a snowstorm leaves her sharing Will’s penthouse over Christmas, the passion between them burns brighter than Times Square. This time, can Will trust Laura to stay?

Amazon UK

I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

My Thoughts…

There’s a Christmas feel from the first pages of this romance. Laura is a festive event planner and especially loves Christmas. The meeting with Will her client is unexpected, especially when she recognises him. Will has never forgotten Laura, and how she left him without a word. Trust is a conflict in their passionate romance, as is Laura’s lifelong guilt. Both characters have damaged childhoods but have achieved material success in life, emotionally, they are bereft.

Their festive romance is idyllic, with snow, confectionery and passion, but when the snow melts and the real world intrudes their conflicted past and trust issues make Will withdraw from the happy-ever-after Laura wants.

This is story has emotional angst, likeable characters and passionate romance, the perfect recipe for a festive romance read.

This is a pacy, sensual romance with emotional conflicts and a massive external conflict threatening any chance of the couple’s happy-ever-after.

The romance is sensual and the emotion that results pose difficult questions for Lola who is hiding a big secret from Connor. This story is true to the genre and is an enjoyable read.

My Thoughts…

Second chance and reunion romance is a feature of Dare, but this one is this and something much darker. Flawlessly written the sizzling attraction and climactic love scenes are part of an emotional story, heavy on angst and dark internal conflict.

The love story is believable, but the flawed couple has to fight hard mostly with themselves to get their happy ever after. The Dublin setting provides the light relief in this story, vividly described throughout.

It’s impossible not to be immersed in this story which will leave you breathless and exhausted but with a smile.
