My Thoughts…

A bereaved young woman is the main focus of this insightful and sensitively written story. It shows that grief and finding the positivity to move on with your life is unique. Original plot twists and relatable characters make this an engaging story. The friendship that builds between the bereaved woman and the man who answers her husband’s old phone is realistically paced. You believe in the characters and the many heartbreaking moments in this story resonate. Ultimately, its a story of loss, love and most of all, hope.

My Thoughts…

The final instalment in this gangland thriller is addictive, intense and revengeful. Gemma regrets her mistake with Alfie, although she loves Luca, her son. Nathan survives his coma, but will he survive recuperation at Alfie’s secluded home? Alfie’s world threatens to implode from all sides whilst Gemma tries to save her family.

Told from the three protagonists points of view, the reader experiences their fears and motivations. The characters are realistic, and the plot gritty with suspenseful twists.

My Thoughts…

The third book in an engaging series about three sisters, set at a hotel complex in a picturesque cove, Skye’s story is complete, but read the series, its too good to miss. With her past littered with failed relationships, her friendship with Jesse endures despite living in different countries. Physical compatibility isn’t a problem, but both deny their emotional bond.

This story focuses on the Pudding parade, which brings Jesse and his daughter Bea back to the cove. This emotional story is full of conflicted romance and introspection. The characterisation is believable, especially the sibling bond between the sisters. Bea is a pivotal character, and there’s a mystery involving a guest.

This is a heartwarming story with love, sweet things and happy endings.
