Summer at the Little Wedding Shop – Jane Linfoot – 5* Review

Blog Tour.png

I love this series, the characters are realistic, the setting and imagery vivid and easy to visualise and the story is peppered with humour and sparkling romance, making it an enjoyable, easy read.

I loved Poppy’s story but Lily is my favourite character now. Her self- depreciating humour makes me smile and her lack of insight into how great she is, makes me root for her success, even when she doesn’t think she deserves it.

The supportive network that encompasses all involved with ‘Brides by the Sea’, adds depth to the storylines making them interesting and relevant.

If you enjoy cakes, flowers and weddings and heartfelt romance against set in beautiful, rugged Cornwall, this is the holiday read for you.

When the owner of Brides by the Sea, Cornwall’s cutest little wedding shop, offers Lily a job as their new wedding stylist, her first thought is – can she possibly pull it off?

Before she’s even sourced a fairy light or tasted a cupcake, Kip Penryn hires her services – but he’s opened an exclusive wedding venue in direct competition to her friend Poppy!

Lily feels like a traitor working for Kip, only everyone knows Penryn men are gorgeous but unreliable. All she has to do is sit back and watch him mess it up…doesn’t she?
