Don’t go thinking this is another story about a young impressionable woman falling in love and lust with an older troubled man. ‘His Confession’ is not this. Gabi is an intelligent, professional woman who knows what she wants. Her current relationship is distinctly lack lustre and when she finds, seemingly damning evidence of her man’s infidelity, she looks for answers. He has crossed the line once and she is no doormat. The answers, she uncovers are not what she suspected but meeting Darion makes her question everything about her life and relationship. The sizzle and inevitable burn between Darion and Gabi is realistically written, graphically illustrated and integral to the story. This is not just about Darion and Gabi there is an interesting cast of supporting characters, in both their lives, which are noteworthy and add to the story’s vivid imagery. Darion’s confession rocks Gabi’s world. Before she comes to terms with this, a new threat to their happiness surfaces with devastating results; making reading the next book in the series a must. If you want a glimpse behind the black door and like your romance erotic this won’t disappoint, a great read. I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.
