Writing Journey: Title for The Dragon Legacy #2 – Your Suggestions

I haven’t written a Writing Journey post for a while because  I’ve been planning and writing book two of The Dragon Legacy. This story is set in the Italian Lakes and Venice and features Jasmine  the feisty witch and Zane the wolf shifter from The Dragon Legacy.

The Dragon Legacy CoverI am running a poll to help me find the title for Jasmine and Zane’s adventure. The person who  suggests the title I like best will win an e-copy of The Dragon Legacy and a crackle handmade necklace as featured on my Pinterest board The Dragon Legacy Fleurcrystal necklace

I have included a couple of my own suggestions  but I am looking forward to  yours.

Poll runs until 28 February 2014.

Here’s an outline of the first chapter to help you decide:
Zane hasn’t seen Jasmine since their passionate encounter in Hallow House’s moonlit garden. After his abrupt departure Zane travels around the supernatural world spreading the news about the infant dragon. In Venice he meets Larna a dragon and sister of his friend Lukas the dragon lord.  After a night meeting with paranormal creatures Zane returns to Larna’s palazzo and discovers  she is locked in combat with an evil entity which looks alarmingly familiar.

Jasmine ‘s life has lost its sparkle  since Zane loved and left her. Moping is not in her nature so she continues to be the life force of Hallow House’s Murder Mystery weekends and clandestine paranormal activities. At night her sleep is filled with images of  Zane and their brief passionate encounter.  One night the dream changes Zane is in danger and Jasmine must find him.’©Jane Hunt 2014

I am blogging on the Crimson Frost Books Blog tomorrow 3 February  about how I chose the setting for Jasmine and Zane’s adventure ‘The Italian Lakes the Perfect Setting for Sexy Fantasy’

5* Review Early One Morning Aubree Lane

He was the dark-haired deity with a salacious smile… he was the one the girls gossiped and giggled about for months… 2,600 miles away, Terence Javier didn’t have a clue his high school yearbook was being passed around an all-girl choir and that he had been voted, as one of the more experience girl put it, the one she would ‘most likely do.’

Thirteen years later Marissa Crandall, while on a romantic island vacation, celebrating her ten-year wedding anniversary, is shocked and surprised to find their dive master was none other than her old high school crush. Seeing the chance to fulfill an old dream, Marissa sets out to kiss Terence.

Stuck in San Diego, dealing with unreasonable clients and babysitting Marissa’s kids, a jealous Annie Harper catches the red-eye out of LAX wanting to intercept Terence and foil her best friend’s plans .

This envious act uncovers a scandalous affair, and in that one pivotal moment, none of their lives would ever be the same.’

My Review:
Early One Morning‘Early One Morning’ is a literary treat with realistic characters that draw you immediately into their lives and the story. The addictive plot kept me reading to see what happened next. The setting of the book in San Diego and Hawaii is charming and a welcome respite from the cold and rain of the UK winter.

I liked the story’s premise; meeting the school heart-throb years later and falling in love for real. The romance and passion in this story is engaging but the secrets from the past which are revealed and their effect on the characters’ present day relationships is intriguing and makes ‘Early One Morning’ a memorable page turner.

If you enjoy romantic intrigue full of passion and emotion read ‘Early One Morning’.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

5* Review Crash & Burn Susan Arden

Crash and Burn is #2 in the Rule Breaker series. I reviewed #1 Rock Into Me  here.

Here’s what you can expect:

‘She rocks his world…he’ll need distance from her to think straight.
Waking up after an off-the-charts night with Alana, Jonathan has minutes to memorize every inch of her body, erotic sensuality, and ability to torment him before he must let her go when their business contract begins and his record company is in charge of her band and her future.

He sets her body on fire…leaving her questioning everything she thought she knew.
Alana is fiercely loyal to Orion. But when fame comes knocking on her door alone, her band refuses to stand in her way. As the pressure builds to keep the band together, the only way out may mean cutting free from a man who complicates her life with his ability to melt her body, heart and soul. Jon and Alana are blinded by their hotter-than-hell passions until they’re spiraling out-of-control and there’s nothing left to do but CRASH & BURN.

EROTICA – Scorching from the start. Jon & Alana’s attraction is the makings of a chemical combustion that gets hotter each time they’re together.’

My Review:
Crash & Burn (Rule Breaker, #2)‘Crash & Burn’ delivers and enhances the passion, emotional torment and glitzy, hard-edged rock atmosphere which I so enjoyed in the first book in the series ‘Rock into Me’ a definite must read.

Alana is devastated both physically and emotionally. She burns for Jon but shies away because he has the means to destroy her body and soul. Jon is left wondering if he can give up Alana his latest rock star protégée after a night of erotic and disturbingly emotional loving. Attempts to establish their fledgling business relationship lead to arguments, longing and inevitable sex as each encounter feeds their uncontrollable addiction.

This is a book best suited to mature adults as the sexual scenes are numerous and explicit. That said they demonstrate the growing emotional connection between Alana and Jon far better than hot looks and constant forays into the characters’ psyche would do.

Alana and Orion’s experience of Music city is interesting. Crash & Burn features interesting cameos of other group members and Jon’s staff that enrich the plot.

My advice is to read ‘Rock Into Me’ first and enjoy Alana and Jon’s electric meeting to fully appreciate the hot erotic romance Crash & Burn delivers.
