Justice for all Time is an interesting time travel romance and historical western full of suspense. The author weaves the historical and mystery plot elements seamlessly with the time travel theme and maintains the story’s impetus.
Cassie is a FBI special agent who wakes up in a cave and can’t remember how she got there. She manages to escape but finds herself in 1853 Frontier America a witness to a battle scene reminiscent of classic westerns. Rational minded Cassie believes she has stumbled onto a film set. When people die she realises it isn’t make-believe but her new reality. You experience Cassie’s thoughts and emotions as she copes with her incarceration over 150 years in the past.
Brendan the sheriff is a nineteenth century man who becomes Cassie’s nemesis from their first meeting. An unwilling romance develops between Brendan and Cassie full of humour and denial until the sensual tension between the couple, forces them together and leads the story into a different dimension. The sweet romance lightens the darker elements of the story.
This character driven romance is an easy read and the perfect escape for an afternoon.
